New version 1.8.1: Support for London stock exchange

I'm happy to announce today's version with support for Google's UK stock quotes. To read stocks from the London exchange, use .L at the end of the stock ticker. The $ sign will be automatically removed from the price.

I'm pleased to announce the latest version of FreeStocksTicker. This release allows users to set Proxy user and password in the setup screen - which will allow ticker to reach internet sources where a protection of a proxy would have blocked internet content thus far.

I've seen a comment on Download.com, and I'v gotten emails asking if this freeware is supported by Windows 7. Yes, it does, always has. Someone had an unknown issue while using it, and did not contact for any support - just went ahead and gave it a 1 star mark and a "fail!" comment. Gee... thanks buddy.

If you experience any issue please do email me and I'll try to troubleshoot it.

New version 1.7.1

This version, fixes but in 1.7.1, where scroll lines in other monitors would not display anything. Download from this site on the right column or from the download page.

Please note that at this point one my mirror sites is down, and I have not updated download.com or any other aggregator with the new version...
